About Us
Created in 2017 GreenSpace Houston is an independent resource for parks and green spaces throughout the City of Houston and its surrounding areas. Our mission is to inform and encourage people from all walks of life, and of all ages to get out and enjoy these beautiful green spaces and at the same time protecting them and restoring them.
Houston ranks first among the nation's 10 most populated cities in the total acreage of par space with 52,912 total acres and wetlands along the Houston area. We strive to capture as much information possible to feature these scenic spaces. On each of the park's pages is the address of where it's located, a map, photo gallery, and a list of activities & amenities. You can also leave a review of your experiences and enjoyment of the par(s) that you have visited.
